For Chrome they have decided to custom paint their titlebar background by default.  Complaints on that decision would have to go to Google.

They do have an advanced setting to prevent this.

In chrome type chrome://flags/

Then in search type titlebar.  You should see a setting called Custom-Drawn Windows 10 titlebar.  Setting this to disabled should stop them doing this.

The only way I know of ATM is to disable skinning on modern app titlebars. It looks boring, but better boring than weird...

PS. For quicker access, this is the direct link to the chrome custom titlebar for Win10: chrome://flags/#windows10-custom-titlebar
Just paste it into chrome and press enter. It will highlight the correct option to disable.

How can you disable mordern apps coulnt find option or what starts them to disable skinning

The issue with the settings app is being addressed in the next WB update.

The new blurry side to the settings app means the app has a custom titlebar when it doesn't really need one and that's why you get a mix of styles.

Hello budds!

I'm having same issue, perhaps you guys should include a setting to NOT skin certain apps, that would be priceless!

That is already a feature in Windowblinds, use Settings, Per Application.

This fix no longer works.

My Chrome version is: Version 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Anybody got any ideas?

That doesn't work on my version of Chrome, but then, I'm using Win 8.1, so, at this point, I'm assuming that you can't have a skinned titlebar for Chrome?

Amended:

Not working on my Win 10 either, I have version 1809 (OS build 1773.475) every time I type in : "chrome://flags/#windows10-custom-titlebar" I get "Search Results not found"
