ok, im pretty sure it wasnt a stardock problem, as i also noticed many strange things happening, like programs not running at all, network stopped working.......i noticed an update last night, so not sure if that was the problem, but so many things went nuts.... i had to do a Win 10 reinstall.....X(

Ah, lovely old Microsoft and their Beta OS.

When you are not even allowed to stay with a stable system but are forced to have whatever idiotic 'update' they deem groovy - and in the process break that stable system.....

In Win 10 Pro you can defer updates to avoid such issues.... and even hide them if they prove to be destructive.

Another way to avoid larger and less important updates is to tick 'Metered Connection' in network settings.  That way you can defer those pesky automatic updates and install them manually at a later date.

Also, you can visit majorgeeks.com>Win 10 tools to get a program that can manage updates and other annoying processes in Win 10

An OS "out of the box" that REQUIRES third party software and "other tricks" just to make it behave and function like a PROPER OS [Win 7].... all because of the one-interface-fits-all approach designed SPECIFICALLY for the Windows Phone [to the detriment of a work computer]....

Oh, and how is that Windows Phone market-share going?

There's a boy band called 'One Direction'....

Microsoft should get their own...and call it 'No Direction."...;p

Yeah, Win 10 is the worst MS OS by far.  It might have some useful features, but the enforced updates and the Fisher Price interface ruin the entire thing.  I liked Win 8 much better, and with Start8 installed it was just like 7 but faster to load programs, etc.  Never liked that tiled arrangement, either on Win 8 or 10.

Sadly, the Windows Phone is no more.  That was/is one place I like the tiles, but production on Windows Phones has ceased, and updates are far and few between.  I still have and use my Windows Phone 8 now and then, and I do prefer it for its interface, but these days I find I'm using my Android Phone more and more.

Yeah, spot on!  MS has had little to no direction since Bill Gates stood back from the plate and let Satya Nadella take over its running.  And before too long it will become a clone of Apple so's MS' so-called management doesn't have to think at all.
