Deskscapes crashes on both of my main PCs. Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit  Run about 5 seconds, freezes up, crashes explorer, then refreshes with only my wallpaper, no dreams. Tried several dreams.

I have codecs installed, graphics updated, windows updated.

Both machines have SSDs and 16 GB ram.

One has a 12 (24) core Xeon processor. Radeon RX 580 graphics gard, 8 GB. The other has a 6 (12) core Ryzen 5. NVidia GTX 1060 3 GB.

Both running triple monitors at 2560 x 1440.

Support in forums not much help. Too many generic answers. I need real support.

Hello together,

yeah - I have to report the same did also a fresh and clear installatiuon of DeskScapes8, without a change.

Whenever I try to get more than 2 pictures into my settings, it's freezing and crashing.
But it seems like this app isn't much supported? - The current version of the app is relly old and not even simple improvements were be done?
Maybe some more options for High-Res-PC's?
Or better and more support for current Graficcard-Series?
Adjustable RAM-Consumption?
Adjustable Core-Consumptions?
Nothing? Not even larger file-size support or increased lenght of dreams, nah?

Run as admin as always - user-control-center is always deactivated on my system ("Do you want to do that?" = Yes! // "Are you sure?" = YES! // "This steps can't be undone! Still proceed?" = God damn how often you like to ask me that.... YES!!!! // "Press continue to proceed!" = Ya kidding me right.... Do it Now!!!! // "Done." = Nice, thanks.... // Who's remembering this? - I hate that... asking me 3 times to simply start an app ... I could spend my time the more better as to answer those stupid questions.).

But maybe it's depending on the Creators-Spring Update, which I already got... but like the support seems to be out of date - there seems to be more compatibility out of date.

Not many users are interested on this software, otherwise the reaction on this thread would be larger and that's why so less attention is on this problem(s).

App is just like retired...

I found my problem. I use a software called DisplayFusion to set wallpapers, etc. If I disable it, Deskscapes runs fine, for most dreams.

There is still the occasional dream that fails with the "Microsoft mpg2 issue". Even though I have the mega codec pack installed.
