It would be nice to have an indication of which admins were online, or a "report xyz to an admin" section. This would save dubious rip reports and other abuse complaints from becoming too public.

how about a 'Report Rip' link maybe in 'Resources' on the left where people could report a suspected rip. A tacky thread (not sure if that's what it's called) could be posted in the 'General' forum to report when these were sucessfully removed, updates, etc.

Brad, I love that idea!

My suggestion would be that upon entering the 'main forum' arena that you are able to see the activity going on each arean/forum by numerical posts next to each category.
That way us "Helpy-Helpertons" (Jim Carrey hehe) can swoop into the "Help" section if it looks active and try and help if it is needed.

And the same goes of course for the skinning stuff...

Perhaps post a 'rules' link regarding content/conduct for each category so that people don't stray too far from the topic within a topic.

But also...it might be very helpful to keep the site free of 'riff-raff' if there was an 'alert' button of some sort that if so many people (Userlevel 4/Apprentice on up) click it (2?) then the admins will see it when they log-on and can take a looksee? Whatsay?
