Space Monger Cloud Connections

Dropbox and Google Drive Connection

Hello,

I successfully connected to OneDrive but have not been able to connect to Dropbox or Google Drive. All 3 use two-factor verification.

When I attempt to connect Dropbox I get this error message: Dropbox error message (Error: SpaceMonger is unable to access Dropbox Error Code: 400)

When I try to connect Google Drive it prompts me to log into Google and then I click on "Allow Space Monger" but nothing happens. It still shows unconnected.

OneDrive, which is also a 2-factor verification process, connects without a problem.

Any idea on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

Jim

SpaceMonger has yet to be updated since the API changes of both of those storage providers.

Is there a fix going to be coming for dropbox any time soon?

No timetable is yet known.

Might as well take the area out of the application then as this is November and still the same, useless for online services.

In the latest release of SM, only OneDrive is avaialable, the others have been removed.

As a new user, this thread does NOT fill me with hope.

OK. Initially my mistake. I didn't read the email closely enough and bought this software because I thought it would help me to manage my several cloud accounts (I'm a backup fool). As I say, my mistake.

But then to see that instead of fixing things (DropBox), you remove them, makes me feel that I've thrown my money away.

I really hate that my first post is so negative but I hate as much that facilities are removed so casually and with, it seems, so little concern for users.

The issue has been submitted more than one year ago. There's still no news about it.

SM is still in version 3.0.0. As far as I remember, it was already the case when I bought it to Werkema that has later been changed to Edgerunner and is now Stardock.

So it looks like there has been absolutely no change nor improvement nor bug correction in SM for years.

Is SM an abandonware ?
