Lost Citizen Bug

Im on turn 163 in GalCivIII Crusade, 35 Players all Godlike difficulty on Ludicrous map. I attacked and destroyed a unit transport belonging to the Terran Resistance and salvaged the craft. Afterward the next turn tab now displays "Lost Citizen" and when I click it, it brings me to the citizens tab where there is nothing I can do to advance the game. I see I have on the transfer units page of the tab an entrepreneur who I assigned to my planet Saturn but on the summery page of the Citizens tab an entrepreneur is not listed. On the game map I now have another unit transport (in addition to the one I salvaged) who came from I dont know where heading back to my homeland I recently liberated. Nothing I can do advance to next turn.

also had this problem, only way out was to quit and start a new game

Workaround: activate console commands and use the "turn" command (look here).

Don't know whether there will be other consequences from this bug that may sour further playing, but it may be worth a try.
