Upgraded to Lifetime Founder... what did I miss by only being a regular?
Hit me.
Hit me.
Own In-Game planet name.
So far, nothing big, except naming an in-game star. Lifetime founders will get all content released for Origins, DLC, expansions, etc. While regular founders only get the DLC released in the first year after release.
So far there are hints that the ships from the classic SC games will be released as DLC, as well as an idea for the first expansion titled Eternal & Infinite.
For an idea of what else to expect for DLC I suggest looking at previous Stardock titles like Galactic Civilizations III, Offworld Trading Company and Ashes of the Singularity.
ok, great. same vault?
and did I miss being able to name a star? that sucks, I would have had a good name too ![]()
Yes.
you and I and a whole LOT of other lifetime founders missed name a star (that closed before the founders campaign re-opened). There was a phase 1 for founders that was for those that knew the lore in-and-out which was limited to 500 copies. ATM by upgrading? you missed nothing. In the future you will be thankful for upgrading.
I don't think the first 2 games are getting released seperately for founders. I think they will be the focus of eternal & infinite.
I was mostly just trying to... um... support the making of this game and show there's a market for this.
Some of us had our planet names rejected at the last minute. Anyone seen IBN lately?
Other than that we all got cake.
Lifetime founders also get sountrack.
Mine was Sheboygan III... now they just need to make a space monster that will eat Sheboygan III and they can carry on a fine tradition of comedy within the gaming world. If you make the monster look like the "Planet Killer" of ST:TOS, that would be a cool reference to anybody who recognizes the comedy world of "Sheboygan III";-)
