You didn't mention whether or not you have a current Object Desktop subscription.  v10.64 is a beta, so it will only be available to those with a current (not expired) Object Desktop subscription.

fwiw-

Loading a skin the 1st time on a Standard (non-admin) logon was a little cranky.  Acted like it was loading but afterwards the taskbar and StartMenu weren't skinned, didn't check the windows.  Tried applying a couple of different skins, no luck.  Logged off (not reboot) while a skin was "loaded", logged back in, the skin loaded as it should at login and changing skins worked fine.

I had applied the default theme to the user (as I typically do before updating WB) before going into the Admin user to deactivate/uninstall/reboot/install/reboot.  Absolutely certain I had rebooted after the install.

Applied the default theme again and rebooted to see if it happened again, it didn't.  Seemed to be a one-off.

"About WB":

Windows 10 Home (15063.rs2_release.170317-1834)

WindowBlinds 10.64 (046 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS

Window titlebar blur features are enabled on this operating system

        Wblind64.dll             2017/08/18 11:08:55

        Wbsrv.dll                 2017/03/28 08:53:46

        WB10Config.exe           2017/08/18 11:08:09

What is the reason to deactivate? I have never done this, I just apply the default skin and uninstall.

What is the reason to deactivate?

Honestly don't know that it's necessary.  I just figure that something somewhere is keeping count and I like to dodge pot-holes. :)

If you read Island Dog's post, it says...

Current WindowBlinds 10 users and Object Desktop members can download the betas from your Stardock account.

That is why I assumed the beta was for me. (I do not have Object Desktop)

Thanks for the clarification. Cheers!

Hmm,  now I'm not so sure.  Typically betas are only for Object Desktop subscribers.

Thanks for the bug report DaveRI

We are working on Chrome not skinning correctly on Win7/Win8. And a task manager painting issue with its controls until you mouseover them.

I can't find it in My Downloads.

oops. Found it. Sorry

I'm not seeing it. The only version of WB that I see is 2.0.

Actually, I'm not seeing most of my products on my downloads page. Subscriptions still active.

Ah, sorry. The format seems to have changed. Found them all.  <blush>

Really?  What more do you need?

Ugh!  Why do I have to uninstall, reboot and the install and reboot again?

Because the OS boots with those changes in mind. When you uninstall those changes are removed and the OS needs to see that. When you install the new version then reboot the OS sees those changes and will continue to boot accordingly.

Working fine here.

There is an issue for WindowBlinds customers. We are aware of it.

Object Desktop Manager does not show the beta. I have Show Beta Downloads checked.

Can you please provide more detail?
What WB skins, what WFX effects?

To keep it simple: all of them. I tried all skins, that are installed with WB and in WFX i checked random effects...

And also the hidden icon box don't have any effects, so i think it has something to do with the taskbar...

I confirm that this is happening and let the dev team know.

I wanted to mention some issues  i had with the skin "Scarlet Updated Sep 13, 2017 by LightStar".  Copy of my post to lightstar

"I really like this skin but i also had trouble with it and the title bar area. It caused firefox dev ed. to go transparent and for the "control-box" (the exit, min and restore)  button to stop working and it was NOT a corrupt file or driver this is a brand new dell working great but that was first on my list to check because  i had no idea a skin could do the things that  were happening. It got so bad i had to switch to another skin before i could even get info on the problem. One other weird event the url bar would flash every time i moved  the mouse past it. Now i have no problem with any other skins and like i said i  didnt know just a skin could  be this hard to wrangle. I do use the beta of window blinds and I am hoping the issue is with it and will correct on update to a stable and i will be able to use this great skin you made. Oh and thanks for that.. Dana"

"Silly but one other fact i forgot to mention, which has never happened before your skin was able to over-ride  the direct colors of firefox even though i have them scripted. Colors like tooltip in firefox were your scripts colors and more like that. Just thought that would help someone figure out what was going on with this, thanks again."

OK saved me from re-typing it all. My system info so you know.

Nothing like this happens with any other skin, nor has ever happened before so i thought I would mention it here  .. Thanks, Dana

The 10.64 download is indeed available to WB users. Go to your account and get it.

Best news in 10.64 is that Firefox is running and gets skinned (with some imperfections though).
