Windows Blind Preset sharing or file location?

If you save presets they're saved in a file in the skin directory C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\[SkinName]\[SkinName].WBO7

If you like to save presets (or make other changes to skins) you would want to backup the skin directories like any other data files.

The presets are adjustments to the current skin and have a reference to the current skin - you wouldn't want to just copy them over to other skins (even if you changed the name reference).  The color adjustments/shifts you make to one skin will yield a different result when applied to a different skin.

Thanks for the clue.  I found this file it's a WBO7.  I uploaded it to dropbox cause if it's my current config ( which actually contains several different custom themes under the acrylic 7 heading) then it's almost right for me.  Check it out:

the specific long title for the preset I'm using with the fairly good color scheme is called:

"New Acrylick 7 with almost right coloring (preset)"

as above specified path was right. (C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\[SkinName]\[SkinName].WBO7)

of course be careful to rename your current acrylic7.WBO7 to 0acrylic7.WBO7 before just pasting this willy nilly in there so as not overwrite your current settings.

In fact you can preview the several modified Acrylic 7 presets by renaming this extension as a .txt and open with notepad.  It is short and straightforward.
