I've noticed that no new Icon Packaged have been added in a while 12/6/2016.
Has this become a dead art form? It is one of the reasons I purchased Object Desktop along with WindowBlinds.
Hoping that someone will take the hint.
Could be because nobody is getting rich making them or pissed because they are not masters yet, or both.
iconpackages are a must if stardock wants this whole customizing thing to keep alive, without them, everything else will fail, people will lose interest in just windowblinds skins, the whole thing that completes a desktop is having a kickass windowblind skin with a kickass iconpackage to go with it, along with a kickass wallpaper to go with it, a matching cursor doesn't hurt, and is great also.... but it's def not as important as a matching iconpackage.... and all the other stuff inside object dock is also all great, but the most important thing next to the windowblind skin itself, is a great iconpackage to match it....
Not likely. No one will or has ever gotten rich from making IP or WB. They are mostly made for personal enjoyment and some extra cash in the pocket.
There is no one on here at the present that being a Master or not has anything to do with additional IP. There are just no active skinners to make IP except for one left that does actually make them but they aren't free.
How many people making WindowBlinds left. 5 or 6. Use to be 20 or more. WE do it because we still enjoy it. I have offered to work with people to make an entire new WB. Seems no one wants to learn how anymore. The key word here is "wants". People want but no one wants to learn to make stuff. I would love to see more things uploaded. Keep the faith maybe some skinners will show up.
Not true. To go with my upcoming windowblinds. And yes, they will be free.
