It was bound to happen folks. All them ads and stuff MS sneaks into your start menu and other places, finally caught up to them. Lol

"and label Facebook a phishing site"

Well, that's accurate at least.

"and label Facebook a phishing site"

Well, that's accurate at least.

Guess I'm not the only one who distrusts the site, then.  I was beginning to think I was all alone because everyone I know [except me] spends hour after hour there doing stuff I just can't be bothered with.

I don't know about the phishing because I never go there anymore, but I do know Facebook is a spammer.  I went there just once to sign up, but a wise friend expressed some concerns about security and privacy so I never went back as a user, yet I got hundreds and hundreds of emails about people and things that didn't interest me in any way.

It went on for weeks and I sent several emails asking them to cease and desist, but it continued unabated despite my requests and even trying to close my account.  I even went to the extreme of getting my email account closed and opening another... all to no avail.  Somehow Facebook found my new account, so I also closed it and went with another provider using slightly different credentials.  I finally got peace, and thus, I'll never ever go to Facebook again: I don't care who's on there or who asks me to, it just ain't happening.
