Paul I guess you are at the Aussie GP................
Just saw this amazing clip which really shows how fast these cars are travelling.
Enjoy your day mate!

Either that or he's on the white wine and the keyboard isn't within reach.
However, my guess is on the former and he's still dizzy from watching cars go 'round and 'round... and 'round.
Watching cars go round and round - almost as boring as watching golf...
Actually, if you look closely at the clip is that not him in the red 'onesie'? Bless his cotton socks.
Couldn't have said it better myself.... though tennis shoulda got a mention for being as boring as batshit as well.
There's only two sports I'll watch: Cricket and Rugby League... cos jelly/mud wrestling and topless netball aren't being televised as yet.
I used to like watching soccer, but that became a real girlies game with all the dives and stoppages for pretend injuries, so now I don't bother.
I stopped watching footie in the '70s. The players have turned into a bunch of overpaid princesses.
Yes, they're fast.
I was on Turn 3 [where Alonso trashed his car last year] ...and had the 'pleasure' of writing the first Incident Report for the '17 race season [bingle between 9 and 20].
Also ended up waving the yellow for Ricciardo's final expiry [at the apex of turn 4].
If I walk back up the track about 100m or so to the brake marker before 3 I'd get a very real indicator of their speed as they're pretty close to the left on race-line....
....but it's all old hat for me....this was my 33rd International Australian F1 [and 38th National] in a row...;)
Exactly! Orright, so I didn't put it quite as flowery as you, but that's basically what I said... they're a bunch of girls with a dribble of testosterone, but not enough to prevent their monthlys.

First International F1 race in the modern era in Australia was 1985 [Adelaide] ....won by Keke ...;)
Yep just like to used to correct my spelling.........my math is still poor
