Fences Flaw?

conflict with start menu name

Perhaps this has been brought up before and I missed it...

Windows 10 Enterprise x64

Start 10

Fences 3

So I created a new fence and named it VMWare. There was already a start menu folder with that name.

Fences replaced that folder with a fence folder and in turn wiped out the original contents of the vmware start menu folder. I had to delete the fence and actually run a repair installation of vmware workstation 12 to get the proper shortcuts back in place. ( I couldn't simply put them there as the original start menu folder is at c:\programdata\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs which is a protected location. I could have gotten around it by other means but a repair install was faster. )

Well it was either, most likely, Fences or VMWare that caused the issue.  Needs testing for sure Phoon.

Well, I tried to duplicate the issue and could not.

I'll just return to the puddle of senseless drool forming at the base of my keyboard while uttering random "Duhhhhhh's".

Sometimes if the nails are not of the right type or quality the boards on the fence will come loose. Just one of those things.  :w00t: :-" ;)

Just had to say that!
