Trial version of Windows Blinds10 Dull-compared to other version I had

Had purchased version of Windows Blinds on old Windows7 PC now Trying out trial version of WB 10 on new pc with Windows 10- hate the interface not at all like my old version. Will it look more and act like the older version once bought? This version seems very dull and a pain to use compared to the older versions. I hate Windows 10 but am stuck with it.

Probably best to be more specific than saying it's "dull." What specifically are you having issues with?

The user interface to change skins isn't as exciting as previous versions but it is clean and easy to use.

(I think my favorite UI was this one:)

Everybody agrees with you ZuberZ and still they changed it to the "new" bland crappy interface :(O

I preferred the previous interface as well.  I miss the star rating filter especially.

I think the latest config is better in many ways and especially for new users.  I don't think it bland, I think it functional (and perhaps less fun).

I also liked the previous interface, it was a lot better.

Have just installed it on Windows 10 as Version 7 won't work

on "10". Bring back the delightful "7" interface. This latest is awful

The old interface was much easier to use because you could SEE everything clearer plus make changes from one spot and SEE what it all looked like together before you applied it. This one doesn't even show the wallpaper with the skin like the old one did so can't tell if like it together until you apply it. The old one was 100% better plus think the colors were truer. Oh well-probably the best you could do to get it to work on crappy Windows 10.

The colours will be identical, nothing has changed in that regard.

The UI changed because the old one was limited in how many skins you could see at once and the design was updated to match our other products.

If there are specific limitations that you would like to see addressed please do let us know so we can investigate enhancing those areas.

Keep it as it is, -it's the design that's borked ;)

Edit: -Or, I should say the lack of it.

Tried to prt.screen and post what I meant. Didn't work. Anyhow trying Start 10 and like it so far. I am just used to like changing what I have to see to what I want to see and it does not seem that Windows 10 is receptive to that. Also I added a texture to the Blind Emerald Green which I now can"t get rid of-is there a way to get the original blind back. I tried re-downloading and didn't work. Old interface don't remember that I had to keep it if didn't like what I saw.

Please Please Please go back to the old UI for Windows Blinds for Windows 10 and make it a free upgrade if someone buys the present one.

I am letting you know. Can totally understand that Win 10 is a diff OS but am hesitant about purchasing the current WB app because I hate it. You need to improve it.

It sucks-can't see the total blind picture or changes you make as a whole without applying.

First I can find no WB named Emerald Green that you want to download again.

Do you think you have gained anything by posting 5 times about nothing. Could have said it in one post.

I find WindowBlinds works just fine. Have no idea why so many are upset about it's design. It's clean and simple and works great. As far as you not being able to see the whole thing. you can do exactly the same thing that can be done in the previous version. Just highlight the WB you want to see. When the picture is showing on the top just click on it. Done with it X out just like the previous WB program.

My goodness you are in the program to change to a different WB. If you want to change settings that is pretty easy also. You might think one opens Windowblind and they use that as their wallpaper.

DaveBax----  Sorry- the name of the Blind was Emerald Stone. I put a texture on it and can't get rid of the texture..( ok skip this I figured it out) Also was trying to reply to other posts just as I am to this one by hitting the reply button on the right side under the post.

Anyhow - I was used to the WB version posted by ZubaZ in reply#2 which I loved. I thought that perhaps the trial version for Windows 10 would revert to that once purchased- apparently it doesn't.

Anyone know why the design was changed? Is it because the older version (imo the better)won't work on Windows 10 OS even with tweaks?

If anyone can answer that it will be Neil.  He's the "Father of Windowblinds" ...;)
