Rebellion

Hi.

I bought it once before and had to reinstall my OS and also lost access to the email account I used with Steam so I was unable to get back into using the game I purchased because of the one-use verification code. I didn't have the proof that I bough the game, so nothing could be done about it. Is it possible to buy Empire without Steam, in case in the very probable event I need to reinstall my OS again that I won't have bought something I cannot use?

Thanks.

www.gog.com

It's Good Old Games website. Legitimate. They are striving to go the opposite way of Steam.

Reading the reviews, people saying buying the game through GOG does not work properly and they give it a low star rating. Can I have something reputable, please?

Thanks.

GOG and Steam are the only two reputable sites that I am aware of that carry the game. Anything else would be less reputable. Sorry.

What are the problems with the GOG version? As far as I know there were only minor issues when it first launched over a year ago but I'm pretty sure they are long since fixed.

Most people don't bother to update their reviews when the patches finally come out.

I have the GOG version and all the issues in the initial release have been resolved.
