A custom map where you start with one of every cap ship and your titan, but you cant build any more and you cant replace the ones you lost.

Would have fleet issues perhaps, so may also need to somehow change that to 0 or start with a custom fleet number.

Is this something that can be done?

With a small mod you could accomplish this.

Look at GalaxyScenarioDef default quick starts for each faction to add the starting capital ship and titans.

Look at the PlayerXXX.entity files for how to remove capital ship and titan options.

Look at the max ship slots files to add a default starting supply OR edit the supply of the capital ships and titans down to in their respective entity files.

My Enhanced 4X Mod actually supports this. It has a bonus you can add in galaxy forge called "No Logistics", and it gives a -99 penalty to logistic slots. Just make sure no shipyards spawn in the game and no one can build any more.

As long as you don't give them 4 research labs, they can't build titans either.

One other question tho, and im sure this one is most likely pinned somewhere - How do you use Gal forge maps in multiplayer? I dropped the file on a pendrive for my roomy and put it in the same folder I load it from, but the game says the required files are not found.

Make sure he had the right galaxy forge folder. There's the one in the game installation folder with the tool itself some people mistakenly put it in.
