Actually, since you mention it, at some point in the next one to three weeks I will be finished with the work I have been doing on my own game universe for the last year. Exactly the thing that I spent a day promising myself that I would not do before joining this founders program, haha. Every free moment of every day for the last year or so know, like there was any way that was not going to happen. Anyway, I'm sure the mods here won't mind if I just post a link too it, and if anyone wants to comment about it you can do it on my dev diary or PM here so it doesn't become a discussion here.
In a few weeks I'll have a development journal on GameDev.Net with about 400 pages of information about my Pirate Dawn Universe. A summary of all 14 games, the Pirate Dawn design doc (it's a top down space shooter:-)), and a playable prototype game. The playable prototype game is the first game of the PDU and includes the entire beginning of the timeline from the formation of the Earth in 4.5 billion BC to 1945 at the beginning of the first game, and of course combined with the game itself comprises the complete first draft of the beginning of the story of the PDU.
So, unless they tell me not too I'll post a link to that here when I put it up. And if you want to let me know what you think of it, which I would love to hear, you can come over to my dev journal for that.
