Icon Packager's Default Icon Packages

Hi.

I'm pretty sure that when I first installed IconPackager it came with a couple of default packages that Stardock had created (to be clear, I'm not talking about the Windows Default Icons, but some "get started" packages).

Unfortunately, it looks like I've lost them.  I changed the directory where I store the packages I've downloaded, and in so doing it seems the Stardock ones have disappeared.

I've searched the install directory and didn't find them there.  Any suggestions would be appreciated, as my recollection is that I quite liked one of them and would like to go back to it.

Of course, my memory could be wrong and there weren't any at install...

Thanks for the help...

I don't think you're alone.  Icon packager not only wrecked all the custom icons I set, but a lot of them are gone (deleted from the directory, and computer).  I actually just spent a lot of time fixing them, and as I was selecting all of the custom icons for file types, etc., IP was randomly resetting ones I had just set.  There are a few more issues also (icons being randomly replaced, disappearing, resetting, gui glitches).

I bought Object Desktop Manager a few months ago and hopefully my experience is isolated, but this software seems like a complete POS.  What should be a fun and amusing time customizing has quickly turns into frustration.

IconPackager is not capable of deleting icons physically from your computer (other than the option to delete an icon pack).  If files have gone missing I strongly recommend checking the hard drive for corruption.

Enjolras : As you changed the folder IconPackager looks for IconPackages it naturally cannot see the original ones which came with the product as they are in a folder that is no longer being looked at.  Extracted iconpacks are stored here : C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\IconPackager

Thanks, Neil, for the pointer to the correct directory.  I found them and have moved them to the directory I'm currently using.
