Greetings!

If you are interested (seriously) interested in modding Ashes please add me on Skype so that I can hook you up with our newly formed Modder tools team.

Prerequisites:

  1. You know how to create FBX files
  2. You are comfortable with using CSV and XML files 
  3. You're technically proficient
  4. You know Photoshop
  5. You are familiar with either Maya or 3D Studio

We are creating tools that will let modders create their own units, user interfaces, etc.  And need knowledgeable people to work with to help let us know what they need.

As for the prerequisites:

  1. You know how to create FBX files:  Yes
  2. You are comfortable with using CSV and XML files:  I became  comfortable with LUA script editing of unit files for SupCom modding. Used to use ActionScript. Import CSV files into Excel all the time if that's what you mean. 
  3. You're technically proficient:  Yes.
  4. You know Photoshop: Yes, for decades.
  5. You are familiar with either Maya or 3D Studio:  Both. Very much so.

 

I hope to have some time this holiday break to mess around with things. I would love to get back to modding. I was a unit creator for the 4th Dimension mod for SupCom.
