A rant on the Low Quality Stills

TL;DR: Dear Stardock, stop including low quality stills in the PDF, please. Give us the raw pics!

Another update has come and gone. One thing that disappointed me (aside from the lack of the local multiplayer reveal/cancellation) was the sheer ugliness of the images that we are getting.

"But Nobody! These are WiP images! They are supposed to be ugly!"

I'm not talking about what is *in* the images. I am speaking about the ugly compressed garbage that we are being fed in order to get our opinions.

How in the hell am I supposed to critique a ship that looks like THIS:

And how am I supposed to know which Pokemon this is?

We need high quality art. No pixelation, please. If you can pack in an uncompressed 130MB movie, you can give us the raw artwork files for the images included in the PDF.

(EDIT: I must be pretty grumpy today. Don't let me post before I have had any coffee.)

This is how the Avatar would look if it had been in the PDF document.

This is how it looks in SC2.

This is how we'd like it to look (if you have myopia). XD

i... hardly agree when people are this aggressive (i must be pretty tame XD)

but i agree! if this is not the finished thing, why not give us a HD version of this? even for the alpha shots?

i hope they realize this and in the October vault update the resolution is better!

^ Colored is from June and b/w ones are from July this year.

You can even make out names for some of those abominations.

Hopefully they don't make all of them aggressive.

And hopefully some of them LOOK docile, but are actually ferocious (like the Spathi critter)
