Accessing Minidump files

Hi, I am attempting to modify the game by adding a ship from SGI, it is for personal use and I do not intend to share it with anyone. I am having trouble accessing the minidump file as when I open it, it is in jiberish. Is there any way to convert it into a readable format? I've also noticed that the file is a mdmp rather than a dmp file. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Few time ago, I asked to Goafan77 and he told me how it was not possible. Just you can read the debug.txt file from created when you start your mod with the _dev.exe.

Nomada_Firefox you have solved all my problems thank you so much!! I've managed to get add in a nice hand full of ships that will let me enjoy the stargate universe again, thank you so much!!
