Nice. Takes me back to the old way of doing things. Seems like everybody in competitive gaming nowadays just wears a headset and tries their damndest to look as stoic as an emotionless statue.

This actually made me think of possible competitive gameplay feature that would also be a clear and obvious tribute to the Pkunk: taunts!

Of course, insults were only part of their character as a special ability, but lots of games have taunt animations or dialog for different character classes ... why not have some kind of race-specific taunt ability for all playable ships, perhaps as unlockable achievements or something to that effect once you gain enough melee experience or rank?

Remap the keybinds when they aren't looking.

WEll the last time there was much cursing and screaming, it was because of Stardock employees playing the pre-alpha-alpha of Offworld Trading Company

Thus it would appear things are going very well with Super Melee
