sleep mode kills deskscape videos

I've read other posts about this.

how can i fix this?

I tried uninstalling K-lite, and reinstalling it with simple settings. No luck. the issue persists.

Please advise

I tried something that seemed to help the issue. I changed the decoder to hardware decoder "nvidia cuvid" and that fixed the descape video freeze issue after wakeup.

however a new problem happens now. The new problem is that i have my icons set to 0% transparency to mouse OFF, and to 100% opacity on mouse-over. This does not work. I can only get my icons to display if i set it to 100% opacity all the time.

questions?

1. should i be using hardware decode?

2. is there a fix for using the icon opacity 0% mouse-off / 100% opacity mouse-over?
