Stardock is setting up a number of Wiki pages:
Can't create an account; Captcha prompt is not working.
That said, I'm curious how this wiki would differ from the Ultronomicon. It's hands down the de facto online repository for all of Star Control with comprehensive entries for every imaginable part of the games, and I don't see the point in simply duplicating it. Unless perhaps we're going to make it look totally slick by comparison.
So what is the mission statement of this wiki and what is the nature of the volunteer involvement?
It'll become the repository for all things Star Control in the long-run. It'll cover the entire Star Control multiverse and include Ur-Quan timelines (of course which is what Ultronomicon is the master at) but also the new ones.
Do we need to make new accounts for these or is it a standard Stardock Account?
I tried both my forums login (email and nickname) and my Stardock login and no joy. Either the wikis need new accounts or the login code isn't quite finished.
It would be very nice if the wikis could share logins with the forums 
Hi Kryo! I was just doing my usual World's Most Demanding Computer User thing. I worked on sales stuff for the Glories of Single Sign-on back in the late '90s and still need 3 internal logins, a few external ones, and some hardware-based ACL listings to do my current work.
More importantly, the Captcha functions are still down on wiki.galciv.com.
Yep, on the GalCiv site the reCAPTCHA is showing "ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key"

You should be able to signup to any of the wikis and login.
I've made the captcha issue known to the devs.
Well, this thread is displaying in the Star Control forum and the Star Control wiki registration captcha is still returning an error.
They are working on some of these, so just give it a bit and try again.
I could do some work on the Sins wiki
Like post a page "WHERE IS SINS 2?"

Could we use the same theme as the Sins forums? Black background, whitish text with yellow/gold links? Pretty sure that needs admin privileges.

Is there a list of outstanding items the volunteers need to be helping out with?
Ready to do anything to get the ball rolling for the remake of Star Control.
Wouldn't want to spend too much time on something that was average. If you can guarantee the new StarCon game will be awesome then I'll happily lend a hand with that wiki 
(Actually, as long as you're pretty sure it'll be good that's good enough for me)
(Or slightly above average - I'll take that too)
