Dark Explorer

Dark theme for older or classic apps

Hi there,

I bought WindowBlinds to change the default white backgrounds from classic apps to black and use a white font. Basically inverting the colors. However every theme i select will mess up the default windows 10 buttons.

Every designer likes to use their own designed buttons, which are badly designed (in my opinion) or do not match the Windows 10 overall theme. I also hate it when the position of the window-buttons are changed.

I would like to have the default theme from Windows 10 so that i could change the default white background myself or have the theme like this one: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/7574/ but without the messed up buttons.

Could you guys help with this? I couldn't figure out, how to restore the original Windows 10 buttons in the 7dusk theme.

Kind regards,

Guido

You aren't going to change the buttons to any default. You can make your own buttons for any Windowblind you want to use. However you would have to make the color and style buttons you want and replace the other buttons using SkinStudio in the "Edit per pixel buttons" section in SKS. (skinstudio).

Deleted your duplicate post on this subject matter and moved this one to a more appropriate category.

This topic is more of a request for help from the skinning community and not really one for Stardock support.
