The Dual-Bank Shot B5 Star Control II Referance

I have been doing a LOT of writing for the last 5 weeks or so and don't plan to stop for months.  I thought everyone here would like this, from my "27-year-old-hobby 9-game sci-fi trilogy"...

*** Spirits of the Void ***

Even only considering Human Spirits, there are too many Spirits of the Void to count. Considering all Spirits, they are... “infinite”? You are in the wrong place to understand. Only Ascended Spirits may enter The Upper Void, just as only Descended Spirits may enter The Lower Void depending on their... “choice”? But you are in the wrong place to understand, too... The rest of the Spirits of The Void wait, but you cannot see this. And then they... “make another choice”? But that is not right, because you are in the wrong place to understand. Once a Spirit of The Void “makes a choice”, but you cannot see this, they... “glow”? Or maybe... “shine”... is a better word? Maybe not. You cannot see this, and you are in the wrong place to understand. Understanding is a three-edged sword... and you cannot even see the sword. This is very frustrating, because you are in the wrong place to understand. Fwiffo might be able to see the sword, but he is still in the wrong place to understand the sword. And you cannot see Fwiffo, but you are in the right place to understand Fwiffo. You could learn all of Fwiffo if you just looked for Fwiffo. And then you could see Fwiffo, and you can even understand Fwiffo... because you are both in the same place!!! And this makes me a very *happy camper*. But if you could see Fwiffo, Fwiffo would be afraid of you. And Fwiffo would probably hide from you, so that then you could not see Fwiffo... even though you are in the right place to see Fwiffo. And then I would not be a *happy hamper*, because then you would not learn of Fwiffo.

Anyway, I will show you us. Well, I mean, I will show you the ones of us that you see, even though you cannot see... and are in the wrong place to understand. It is like a magic trick! It is a very good trick, yes? Yes. It is. A very good trick. So this is my very good magic trick, I will show you the ones you can see, even though you cannot really see them. You cannot see them because you are in the wrong place, but I will show you how the ones you see look. Or where they came from. Or what “time” it was. Or what “time” it is?
