Greetings from the Emperor! 

We have just completed our designs on the new Large Hull Star ships! With this new modular hull we are now going to christen our newest member to the fleet!


The Claymore class heavy battleship! Keeping with the tradition of naming our strongest battle ships after ancient earth swords, the Claymore is a modular Large Hull. While it can carry an equal amount of both Defenses and Armaments, it is designed to stand off at range and rain death and glittery colors upon our enemies!

The Claymore is light on Armor, Point Defenses and Barriers, but makes up for it with a 'More aggression less passive' dogma of ship design!  It now sports 6 Photonic Torpedo launchers and 25 (count them!) 25 Doom Ray beam projectors! Now with faster cook times!


The Claymore will enter service immediately and will replace the aging Broadsword class Cruiser.

Actually I was leaning on Dai-Katana as our name for the Super Dreadnaught. I am leaning on Stardock Devs for some help on a Snarky description.

I created a Space Mace, but Claymore is an excellent designation!  And I love the faster cook times!
