Start Search Result Highlight color

This just started a while ago and I am not sure why. I haven't changed any settings in quite a while. When I use Start search, the highlighted result shows with it's text white and a light highlight color making the name unreadable. I have tried adjusting every setting I can think of in both Start 8 and Windows to get either black text here or a darker highlight color so I can read the white text. In my screen shot the top item should read 'firefox' but I can't read it unless I highlight one of the other options in the results. Anyone have any ideas? Appreciate your time and help!

What other customization software are you using?

None, just Start10 when I made my original post. I just bought WindowBlinds 10 a few minutes ago thinking maybe I could maybe use that to be able to access the System Colour :Hilight color changer to work around it and I can get the color to change if I apply a WindowsBlinds style Start Menu, but I can't adjust the Default Microsoft Style's color or when using Start10 Modern Style which is what I would prefer to use. Playing with it a bit more, it's only the Modern Style that has the highlighting/text colors which I can not read as shown above. Windows 7 & 10 Styles use black text which is readable. I'd really like to be able to use Start10's Modern Style for the Start menu and not have to set a WindowBlinds Start Menu if possible. Thanks for the reply ZubaZ, it's appreciated!
