Can't quite get it..

Hello! I just recently downloaded and installed Deskscapes and I wanted to put a .gif as my animated background, I took all of the frames from it and used windows movie maker to make it into a video, then I made it into a .wmv and created a thumbnail for it and converted it into a .dream and it shows up in the deskscapes configuration panel, however it says it contains an invalid video type or a compatible MPEG-2 video decoder may not be present. I would really appreciate some help! thanks!

All newer dreams don't use a MPEG-2 codec anymore , and later versions of

windows don't include it

So like Dude said install the MPEG-2 codec and your dream should play back

if you didn't make another error , like your video conversion to wmv .

AVI format would be better as it uses just 1/2 the CPU usage as does wmv format.

Some converters are better than others.

As a Dream Maker, I kind of seen a little of everything involving dreams ..
