Layoffs at Toys for Bob

First, this post is not about relishing in another company's misery. I just read a report about possible layoffs at Toys for Bob, as a result of Skylanders underperforming in 2015. They cited increased competition from Disney, Amiibo's and others, as well as the casual crowd not making the jump to next gen systems. 

Layoffs and underperforming games are never to be welcomed, but in this specific situation, it brings up two interesting possibilities:

1) There maybe be some leftover talent from Star Control II on the market if this keeps up, which would be an amazing win for the reboot. 

2) The main hiccup with getting Fred and Paul on board is the massive success and cash cow status of Skylanders! If that's no longer the case, it may be possible to entice them to come on board at Stardock to work on their most beloved IP in history. 

Thoughts anyone?

It's always a shame when a company has to lay people off in this industry. Especially when that's almost a "black spot".  Not that that would impede Paul & Fred, but still.
