Guess I wasn't paying attention to this forum enough. One suggestion, don't f**k this game up. You're messing with a childhood here. Lol, but seriously I played a ton of Star Control 1 and 2 when I was little. I probably played the demo for SC2 completely through 50 something times.
You're not alone. I filled out the Founders program stuff at the first opportunity, and...nothing. *shrug* No idea. Pretty sure my PC meets min-spec, and I can afford the down-stroke; but no good times for me.
'Bout only one thing we can do: play something else until release date. 
We will have things happening in the future. Keep an eye on the forums and the website. I do respond to the normal forums as well. I just won't be sharing aspects taht are covered by the NDA in the public areas.
