Enhanced Capital ships mod. V1.183

hiya,

been a while i have mod something for Sins, now i am back for bit.

i give you all Enhanced Capital ship mod.

 

chances/modified.

 

all Capital ships given a very small DPS improvement,

Tech all weapons +4

PSI all weapons +6

Phase all Weapons +5

 

Each level gives a minor bonus to migration 0.011 basic now 0.012 per level

Each level gives a minor bonus to 5 hull bonus

Each level gives a minor bonus to 10 Shield bonus.

 

All capital ships are outfitted with AA weaponry (something what real battleships have also)

All capital ships have now 2 Left/right targets (Assault have 3 targets (Left/Right)

Capital Assaults improved on amount of targets 1 front chanced to 2 front.

 

Mod is made for GoG version 1.83 *not sure if it works on 1.82 guess it do*

Balance to Fighter/Bomber.

Fighter tiny bit extra DPS also bit faster +200 (2700 to 2900) *roll to counter Bombers*

Bombers health nerfed Phase -30, Tech -15 PSI -10.

failed to have a balanced fighter squad will make you loss the battle *optimal 1 bomber 2 fighters*

 

still planning to balance Titans and nerf some frigate (they survive way to long head on with a fleet of capital ships  guess they need less armor or less health points)

Might gonna gonna mod capital ships into better specific roles *or at least more logical and more fun roles then exist atm

suggestions leave them below

Adding new weapons without adding corresponding weapon points to the mesh file may cause issues with save games. I can't remember if this happens with Capitalships but I know starbases have an issue with missing weapon points and not firing on targets after loading a save game. If you find capital ships aren't auto engaging, especially for the AI after loading a save game this is likely your culprit.

A simple work around would be to add forward/back/left/right weapon points that fire from the center point which is what the game defaults to without the weapon point added.

not have experienced a crash but will keep in mind then when i thinking about adding AA on starbase.
