Building multiple fertility clinics to populate planets quickly
Disappointment follows me like a small gray cloud
I know I read about this on the internet previously. Some guy had said that he had 3 or 4 fertility clinics on one of his planets so he could have the planet pump out troop transports every turn without ever depleting his population.
I decided to use that tactic to fill up some planets that I'd recently taken over. Population growth with 5 fertility clinics on one planet was not impressive. I was not at 100% approval, more like 65%, but my population grew quite pathetically and I was annoyed to have wasted the money, annoyed that Stardock doesn't make this sort of thing clearer. If there is no benefit to building more than one fertility clinic per planet then why allow more than one to be built? Is it just to show that some are noobs and others are more experienced?
Love to hear from anyone else that has tried something like this.
