What about the ability to merge alien ships/races into 1?

If you remember, after Star Control 1 timeline and into Star Control 2 the Mnmrrr Transformer & Chensesu merged into 1. Forming the Chmrrr Avatar.

But that's not it.

Zog-Fot-Pic used to be 3 individual races as well, before merging.

They had too, to defeat I believe a race called Zebransky.

I think it would be very, VERY cool to have the ability to do this in the game as well.

Maybe to save a race from extinction, or to create a super ship like the Chmrr?

But mostly to add some cool imaginry and creativity to the game as well.

What say you?
