Very nice. I have many of the ones you already put up on the workshop. I love the David Brinn Stories and the characters you created for that universe!
i haven't opted in yet, too worried they are gonna wipe everything as a necessity and i prob won't actually play a game till it's live, glad to see it is working well so maybe they won't have to wipe it.

Still may not be compatible. They may end up needing to throw extra data structure in the files.
I'd imagine the files will be easily reworked by the author to make them compatible, and just another quick download away. Support wise, I'm glad they are warning everyone this is a possibility. Although even with this warning, if they do end up needing to wipe, I predict there will be a large number of complaints and WTFs inbound.
Hopefully they find a way to make it compatible, I have downloaded quite a few. I hope 1.1 comes out soon. I am looking forward to the flood of new races we are going to get with 1.1. I have a few myself I am going to upload.
Custom Factions are currently enabled in multiplayer again and it appears just checking that all limits on number of factions (human is 4) for multiplayer have been removed compared to single player.
One limit on multiplayer is still the size of maps is limited to huge.
