Sometimes, the after battle results are wrong. e.g. it lists 1-3 of my ships as destroyed (had fleet of 6) but upon returning to main map, all my ships survived.
Are you using carrier modules? You might have lost a fighter or drone?
Nope, all straight fighters. I haven't figured it out, trying to get a repeatable scenario. Definitely a bug, Not frequent but it happens
I've had this it showed one of my 3 ships destroyed and yet when back on the main screen I still had 3 ships but 1 only had 1hp left needless to say I sharply directed it to my nearest base.
I noted my damage also, it varied from almost none to 1HP like yours
I noticed one battle, where my ship at 0 HP fired for 3 more salvos (and helped kill an enemy ship), before exploding. No idea if it was "real" or a graphics replay bug.....
Ship's hit points (and defense numbers) that are at 0.5 will display as zero in the battle viewer. Thus it can look like your ship should be dead, but it is still alive until one more hit occurs.
For defenses, you can tell the difference between having 0.5 defense left and 0 defense left by seeing if the zero diplayed is a white zero or a grayed out zero. The grayed out zero is a real zero meaning you are going to start taking hit point damage with the next hit.
Yet another rounding issue....ok, I buy that. will keep a lookout for the color of the zero.
For me, the battle summary window often shows one less 'ship destroyed' icon than the text info -and the text info is the correct one. The missing 'ship destroyed' icon has been a bug for quite a while.
This is more than a rounding issue. I just had a fleet fight between several of my ships, 4 tiny and 2 small hulls, vs a Krynn fleet with one medium hull and 4 small hulls. the battle viewer showed it as a close fight, with only one enemy ship surviving. When I got back to the main map, it showed the Krynn fleet with 4 ships surviving. They had more than 1 hp left as well.
