Thanks :). Since I posted this I tested it on my Windows 8.1 machine and I have at least one other confirmation the installer works perfectly.

Fixed a bug in CUFI. The Campaigns were installed into a subfolder in the Campaigns folder.

Updated CUFI. It will now install the High resolution Graphics mod which I've updated for the Community Update.

Updated CUFI and uploaded the AltarnizedUI.

Thank you for putting in your effort and time in maintaining the community update and keeping GalCiv 2.

This CU has breath new life into GaCiv 2 and I am hooked into GalCiv2, while leaving GalCiv3 alone. =D

Chanbrothers,

Glad to hear it! Enjoy.

I've been following and playing the CU and love it. Thanks for including the HRGM also. I do have a question and can't seem to find any information as to what the AltarnizedUI is.

I've downloaded it but my anti-virus flags it and removes it. Not saying I don't trust you guys, but before I un-quarantine it I want to know if it's something I really want. Can anyone provide some info as to what it is?

Thanks

Ah....  Cool. I'll use them as I liked most of the changes you made. Just wasn't sure what the file was. Thanks for the reply!

Hello,

Even though I appear to have installed the Community Update installer, I can't find the 'cufi.exe' file in order to install the other two mods. Any ideas?

Thanks,

DANNY

Ah, should I put the 'cufi.exe' file in the main GCII directory? Probably. The two other mods have now been installed in the following directory:

 C:\Users\DanoMan7\Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\Mods\Community Update\

Is that right?

Thanks,

DANNY

Acatually there's little point installing CUFI. Stardock's made the Community Update official.

"Actually there's little point installing CUFI. Stardock's made the Community Update official."

Alas, I have no idea how to install the 'official' update. When I click 'update game', it takes me to the Stardock My Account/My Download page - where the only option is to re-download the entire game again (which is the old version anyway). Have I missed something?

Yeah, they're updating the store. Should be done pretty quickly. Check the announcement thread.

You can use CUFI to play the update in the mean while.
