Help Needed!!!

Hi everyone,I have just started playing this amazing game and i love it ;-).The problem i have is on the planets tiles. Some tiles have a little colour emblem in the bottom left corner of some tiles. What is best to build there and can i build anything there to get the advantage of that tile.Or do i have to build pacific things there?.Thank you everyone in advance ;-).

Mouseover the emblem or click the tile to find out what it does. They usually provide a bonus to a specific type of improvement built on or near that tile. The popup and the info box in the top right of the screen will explain the details.

An arrow pointing upwards means the bonus applies to that tile. Four arrows pointing outwards means the bonus applies to adjacent tiles.

Great advice so far..... ;-).Also i played a small map and had 2 planets. When i had built things i wanted to at full capacity...ie all the planets had things built on them there was no more space for anything else.A pop up came up all the time saying Idol Colony.I was a bit miffed about that,i didnt know what it was trying to tell me.

Like in many 4x games when a town/city/planet can no longer build buildings there is usually some sort of generic option such as generating money, science, etc. In GCIII you can do this as well. In the same part of the screen where you click buildings look at its stop. You should see the word "project." Click that and you will be given options to build a shipyard, and depending on your tech level there will be research, credits, influence, and birthing subsidies. I'm probably missing one. Anyway you can click one of those and the planet will no longer be idle and instead gain the bonus of whichever 'project' you chose.
