Hey all:
Is it possible to add nebulae (of any kind) to a custom race's home star system? I've been working at it for a couple of days and haven't managed to find a way.
The only nebula references I see are in GalCiv3MapDefs.xml
Maybe you could define a new type and force some nebulas into it - but not sure if that would force them for your custom race.
I checked in StarSystemDefs.xml to see if maybe you could add it as a LaneType - maybe there is something in there you can use to force what you're after?
The iconians with the starfaring trait were initially supposed to start inside a nebular. But for whatever reason that didn't happen. I'm guessing the devs themselves had issues with it and so there is no way to do it until they get around to implementing it.
