Insane Map Win??

Has anyone won on an Insane map yet (with more than a couple players)?  If so how many turns and how long did the game take for you?

Still checking if anyone has completed an insane map yet?  My current game with 48+ hours is now unplayable (can't save anymore/crashes on auto save or after several turns randomly).  I know these games take forever so was wondering if anyone has completed one yet.

Not yet... Currently on turn 510 and have about half the galaxy under my control but there are still parts that haven't been explored and a couple of races that I haven't run into yet... I'm trying! :)

I started another new game. I have 15 races in addition to my custom race. I just met the 'gifted' Drengin who control at least 1/3rd of the Galaxy. I am now in production mode for building fleets. The Drengin outnumber by 100's of ships, however I am many many leaps ahead of him in tech. I have nightmare torpedoes and he has stingers.

Lets party!

Turn 189.

I won one it took around 600ish turns to win, but I cheesed it by getting a research victory,I was really getting bored because of placement.   I set it up so that everything was rare, and production and research was set to slowest.  However, minor races were abundant and had about 10 major races.  I got exceptionally lucky and got placed far away from the cpus.  I found out a few fun things throughout the game though, around turn 250ish I built a ship so loaded down with sensors that I could see, almost, the entire insane map, so I "met" everyone before I won.  Also, even when research is set to slow it only really effected me at the very beginning once I got 2 research planets it really did not hurt anymore.  I will start a new game eventually and turn off research victory and put in like 25 races, also I will turn off tech trading as that made it way to easy.
