Upgraded from Fences 1 to Fences 2 and lost layout and icons

Hello,

I've been using Fences 1.0 for a while and today decided to upgrade to Fences 2.  When I uninstalled 1.0 I was asked if I wanted to delete the existing layout and I clicked NO, however after installing Fences 2 and rebooting I do not have any of the previous fences/icons.  Can these be retrieved in some way or must I recreate everything?  TIA for your help.

Edit:  On closer examination I see that all of the icons that were previously in fences are still in the desktop folder (they were all stacked on top of each other).  Only the fences themselves are missing.  Are these recoverable or do I need to recreate them?

You're going to want to create new Fences.

Thanks I figured that would be the case.  Once I discovered that I still had all of the desktop icons creating new fences wasn't a big deal.  Is there a way though to save the current fence layout (snapshots?) so that it can be restored after a reinstall or upgrade?  I'm not seeing anything like that in the Fences 2 settings.

Is this what you are looking for (lower portion of screenshot):

If so, just right click in empty spot on desktop and click "configure fences"

As BlackSmokeDMax said, check that page in the configuration options. "Take Snapshot" will record your current layout.
