Restored to Default Windows 8 Theme but Default Windows Font doesn't Come Up on Desktop and in Explorer

Issue with reverting from fonts selected within WB to default Windows 8 Fonts

Hello all, I selected the font MV Boli when I chose the skin Arsenic 8 in Windowblinds. MV Boli then became the font for all the skins I selected which was fine. However, I want to use the default Windows them complete with the default Windows fonts. However, even though I went back and selected Segoe UI within WB, MV Boli persists even when using the default font.

I also tried setting the default Windows theme by right clicking on the desktop and selecting the them and still MV Boli is the font on the desktop and within explorer.

Can anyone assist me in restoring the original Windows font? Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you rebooted?

 If not, double check that the font you want is selected and do so.

No i'm not. In fact I have been a long time user i.e. legitimate user of the software. I just could not remember my password so I created another name. My previous username here is Teri Humer.

 

Does anyone have any other ideas.

You could try opening the fonts folder in Windows, remove MV Boli and then try to change back to Sego UI. I would think if a font isn't found or installed, Windows will have to force the default to be used. I know if a WB uses a special font that isn't installed, it will use defaults. You can put the font back in it's folder after you get things back to normal.

Hi the Wizard1956, I just tried your suggestion but I get the message "MV Boli cannot be deleted because it is a protected system font".

It is inappropriate to suggest that a fellow forum member may be anything other than a legitimate customer/user, particularly within Stardock's 'Support' Forum.
