Create the race of your dreams and enter the Galactic Civilizations III Faction Design Contest for a chance to win $1,000 and get your faction included in the game as a minor race!

All you have to do is make your race, either using the in-game tool or going deeper and creating it as a mod, then write a description and upload the file to our handy submission form.

The eight coolest, most unique races our community can dream up will be chosen by the Galactic Civilizations III team to be featured as finalists, and the community will vote on the ultimate winner.

So are we going to have the 'Winners' and folks to enter' have those races in the game? 

 

Maybe as a patch? I love having lots of races to pick from by the way...

This is probably a null question but just to make sure. I know the rules stipulate either the in-game tool or by creating a mod, but is the use of a combination of both ok?

Shouldn't have: the submission rules state that the deadline is 11:59 PM EST, current time at posting: 5:38 PM est.

It submitted for me yesterday but took like 5/10 mins of waiting. guessing slow uploading?
U get a page that comes up saying "Success", tho would have been really nice to get a confirmation email xD

Or just a "working" message or something to indicate that the process is actually being done.  as it stands: mine has been sitting for half an hour now and nothing has happened.

It's not sending it when submitted. I checked my traffic. It's like the submit button is null.

I guess I'm not the only one, then. I've been trying to submit for the past 20 minutes...pretty disappointed.

EDIT: I couldn't let the words "pretty disappointed" stand since, as always, I am impressed by the customer service and quality of the character at Stardock. You guys are awesome!
