Mohawk Games has released a new update for Offworld players today with the following changes. If you're a Founder, grab the update off Steam now!

  • Team names added. Your suggestions are welcome!
  • Removed the “Top Offworld Prices” from the beginning of the game. Nobody remembers them, new players are confused by them. Less is more!
  • $XXXk for offworld market display instead of $XXX
  • You can’t spam chat with empty strings (Thanks PBHead!)
  • New CEO selection screen for the campaign
  • Terrain is now batch processed (should improve performance)
  • Fixed crash/bug when you targeted an underground nuke at an unclaimed tile. (Thanks again, PBHead!)
  • Credits added
  • Stock price now starts at $5
  • New world audio treatments: electrolysis reactor, geothermal plant, solar power, and steel mill
  • New scan audio
  • New tooltip for debt! So handy!
  • Upgrade HQ tooltip now only displays info for your starting HQ rather than whatever one you have randomly selected.
  • Fixed bug preventing bids over $36K
  • Better tooltip when you own all your own stock
  • Now the menu screens have the same cursor as in the game
  • upgrade claims are now different for each handicap level
  • Audio: when you upgrade your HQ a nice chime plays according to the level.

When i click and open Hacker array screen game get slow and lagging!

For me, all of the special buildings (engineer/offworld) lag when opened. The hacker array is the worst however.

We tracked it down and Jim is working on it now! Thanks for pointing it out! I hope it'll be fixed in the next update.
