Good Old days

I remember in the old days(Good Old) you had skinners making minimalistic, thin border window blinds with a roll up button.  Damn few skinners put the roll up button anymore and it seems thin borders are out.  One reason most of my blinds are old.

You're such a good sport!  3 cheers for Doc.

And Snow, you're such a braggert (must be the blow to your head, oops).

Now just one second. Monty Python is one thing, but Stallone w/o music is quite another!

Take this, Snow!   ;)

Quoting starkers,

Oh, on a more serious note, does anyone know anything about Uvah, another old timer we haven't seen for a while?

Last I know it's been around 2 or 3 months when he reported his computer was stolen again. At that time he used someone else s computer to report so guess he doesn't have that available.

Well I hope that's all it is and he's okay... not that I think it's alright some low life stole his lappy.  What a low mongrel act. >:(

Would I disappoint you, now? [Hope you like trout you old pirate! Bahahaha!].

Nah, tasted like salmon to me....but it was nevertheless good.  hehe.

And another way you know you're getting old... when it takes all night to do what you used to do all night. :-" ;P :w00t:

Yep, but what you don't knos is that Fuzzy's been on the phone to acme Trading for months wanting to know why his hasn't turned up yet.

I dunno, what with him and Seth [Doc} and Jafo, not to mention WOM and RND, anybody 'd think we ran a geriatric society around here.

I mean, a dependence on Viagra is one thing [if one could afford it], and I can perfectly understand that, but a dependence on bath and commode chairs suggests things around here have completely gone to the dogs.

And when some pics of old timers remind me of The Abominable Dr Phibes, it gets somewhat worrying.

I think starkers age is showing, as he can't seem to remember he even posted and had to re-post again.

Well, well, well.... Didn't I look handsome back then?
So big, bulk and shiney.

I wonder if they ever figured out who that freak is, holding me upside down by my tail.
I should have slapped him......

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it.  Snow did have the fish and Doc stole it.

I don't know why this is happening.... the double posting, that is.  It's the 2nd or 3rd time it has happened in a few days... and it's not me hitting 'post reply a 2nd time.  It happened in another thread a couple of days ago where I got an error after posting to say that the request had timed out and the page could not be displayed, so I pressed the browser back button, then 'refresh', and lo and behold, there were two posts when I go back to the thread.

So yeah, it beats me why it's happening... unless it's because I forgot where I've been because I'm too concerned about getting to where I'm going... or would like to go.

Another way you know you're old is when you're afraid of getting mugged and your wrinkles are deep enough to hide your wallet/purse. :-"

Funny starkers.  And by the way, I just couldn't resist.  I fought it, and fought it, and well, had to zing you.  It has happened to the best of us.  Gee, I can't even, oh what's that word, I know it starts with re, re, oh, remember if this thread is about skinning, age, or fish, though I think it started out about fish, or was it age, or.... oh well.  Or was it about snow and doc, or Teddybear, or Fuzzy, or, Dave, or, or, hummmmmmmmmmmm.  Think I better go to bed.  I think clearer in the morning, after 10:00 that is.

I don't think you thinking clear has anything to do with time. I doubt it'd even possible for you to think clear. Well maybe if you put your head under water.

Gee, I can't even, oh what's that word, I know it starts with re, re, oh, remember

Or was it recollect?  Shoot, even that's confusing.  I mean, how can you recollect your laundry if you've already picked it up?

Well I know how I'm gonna save myself the confusion.  I just won't pick it up the first time so I can recollect it later.. :-"

I dunno, Dave, you're sailing pretty close to the edge... and when you fall off... or get pushed by Christine,  you'll soon see that the Flat Earth Society people weren't shitting when they said the Earth isn't round.

You know you're old when you look in the mirror [cos that's the only way you can see] that you haven't got pubic hair anymore,  you've got cobwebs.

And how do you know the WindowBlind you're using is old?  The text is Heiroglyphics and the rollup button is predated by a hessian cord

Funny guys.  Well, have decided (since I got some sleep), that a nursing home wouldn't want me as I would be lobbying to have everyone doing wheelchair wheelies and the fish dance as mandatory exercise.  Oh, and Dave and Snow would be my first victims.

It's much to quite in the middle. On the edge there is a lot of free space. You are so old I guess you don't remember. You fell off the edge years ago and still around.

Quoting starone, reply 99

I can only talk for myself. May be your first victim but have been a victim so many times I wouldn't know it any other way. You think you aren't a victim, think again. Can't get rid of me can you. Rest my case.
