Cross Has Gone At Top Right Hand Corner To 'Close' Windows 8.1

Ever since I did a format of Windows 8.1 and reinstalled Start8 the cursor has changed from an arrow to hand.Previously I could move the cursor to the top right hand corner and a cross would appear so I could basically shut down Windows 8.1 and go back to the 'normal' desktop. Now there is a hand and I can no longer do this. Can I and how do I change this to before? Thanks.

If you're running "Cursor FX", Try uninstalling Cursor FX, clean the registry etc then Re-install cursor fx.

- If no change do the same with Start 8.

If still no success it might be something borked with the 8.1 install.

try reinitializing the cursor FX theme you're using. sometimes it needs a double boot.
