I updated my setup with a 30 inch IPS monitor and felt the need to redo the whole shebang.
Thought it a good time to share setup shots. Anyone?
EDIT: I think my cameras suck.
Mostly yard sales and Craigslist.
I have been going to yard sales, buying old PCs and parts, refurbishing and making bux!
I pay 10-20 bux for used towers, PCs that don't work, etc. 5-10 for monitors, mice and keyboards I get for 1 dollar, usually.
For instance, this summer, at 1 yard sale, I bought a 1 TB hard drive, still factory sealed in box, inner sealed in a static proof bag, for 20 bux. They didn't know what they had. Their price, not mine.
Lotsa good bargains at yard sales. Sometimes, people don't put PCs and things out, they don't think anyone wants them. I ask.
I have refurbished and sold for 100-150 dollars rigs I paid 10-50 dollars for. A few I bought for 10-15 dollars that didn't need anything but a good tune up. Money in the pocket.
I have probably sold 20 PCs this summer. Bought a laptop for 5 bux, sold it for 100.00. All I had to do was put a hard drive in it.
The 30 inch HP ZR30w is an IPS monitor I paid 200.00 for it. It sells now, used, on eBay for 600.00 - 800.00. Was 1200.00 new. The rest I bought super cheap at yards sales, etc. One of the 23 inch HPs was new when I bought it.
Cmon, guys, put up a few pics. I know ErnieLeo is gonna blow me out of the water. The rest of you must have decent setups that you're proud of.
The 535MHz on Speccy is inaccurate. The ram is G Skill PC3-12800 (800 MHz)

No it isn't. It's DDR RAM so multiply that number by (approx.) two. Your memory clock speed is 1066MHz.
If I expand the details on the ram, slot by slot, it says 800 MHz. Ok.
OK, come on guys. 
Am I the only one who has a setup that's worth showing off? 
I am still setting up my man cave and still haven't unpacked everything yet - got interrupted there for a while - so my setup is nowhere near ready to show off
We'll see, when it is, tho. 
Nope... but I know of a snail who 'll carry the mail for the price of a thimbleful of whiskey flavoured water.
He says it might take a while because of the additional/alcohol induced toilet breaks, but you will get it.
Haven't worked in 9 years....gotta get some money in the house!!
Been longer than that for me, but all my puter repairs thus far have been free [family and friends] and I'm not able to attend to garage sales or markets due to limited mobility/no car to get it home...
Thing is, I retired from family/friend PC repairs due to the level of bitching I copped the last couple of times I tried to help out. People getting something for nothing don't have the right to bitch like paying customers, so these days I just service my own PC wants/needs.... tho it'd be great if I could pick up some of those 2nd-hand/used bargains how and again.
Since no one is putting up workstations, I thought I'd give Doc something to do.
