AltarianWarpFieldTheory_Dec

"Our researchers are now able to "stack" up the space-bending fields of our hyperdrives, magnifying the accleration[acceleration] effect. They call these stacked fields "Warp Fields" and are able to use them to create vastly more powerful engines."

AltarianStellarFoldingTech_Dec

"Stellar folding is the ultimate extension of hyperfield technology, bending space on a scale never seen before, with hyperfields approaching the diamater[diameter] of a star. Our ships are now the fastest in the galaxy, and perhaps the fastest the galaxy has ever seen."

AltarianHyperfieldProjection_Dec

"Careful analysis of the way hyperfield waves interact when ships are travelling[traveling] in formation has revealed the possibility of building larger field generators capable of increasing the drive efficiency of an entire fleet."

AltarianGravityFieldManipulation_Dec

"It took many decades of effort before our physicists were finally able to find the graviton. It turned out to be inside us the whole time. Inside of everything the whole time, to be technical. AltarianArmorMastery1_Dec

"With modern armoring systems, the design of the armor informs the shape of the ship as much as the other way around, and properly armoring a ship is a complicated trade off between armoror[armorer] and ship designer. It's an art essentially, and it's one that we have mastered."

Comet_Dec

"A comet has reentered the solar system after a fifty year absence, throwing a primitive local species into a frenzy. They apparently worship this regularly returning visitor as a god. Your scientists report however that this comet is at least partly artificial, a relic apparently left in the Oort cloud{Oort cloud is the name given to the debris sphere that belongs to our Sun, other solar systems would probably have different names} by an advanced species. There may be some salvage potential in it, provided of course that we're willing to kill a God to get it. What are your orders?"

LeftoverRobots_Benevolent_Bonus_Name

"So long as we're sure they're subsentient[sub-sentient], there's no harm in taking defensive measures to thin out the robots around the colony. Let's just make sure to feel a little guilty about it, and maybe set up a museum to study them."

Scorpions_Dec

"This planet is populated by a species of gigantic subterranean insects{scorpions are arachnids, not insects} that are thankfully normally not hostile to us. Our scientists however have identified that the walls of their nests are lined with rare minerals which we could potentially excavate. This will not please the scorpions. What are your orders?"

Rhonin, can we manually make changes to the information in the folders or does it have to be done at stardocks end for the corrections to show in game?

I can pull up the docs as well and run through and correct but I don't want to break my game.

In theory, yes. But, I don't see the point when SD will correct them themselves, especially if descriptions might be rewritten.

Here are a few that I don't see mentioned in your list, that I noticed during play.

AnomalyDefText.xml

ShipRangeBoost_Dec

While investigating a gaseous anomaly, you're [your] surveyors find a previously unknown element with remarkable properties. One of the senior scientists among your crew adapts your existing life-support systems to utilize the strange element, greatly enhancing the systems' efficiency and therefore your fleet's range. (+25% range to all ships in fleet)

ColonizeEventText.xml

Disease_Dec

A strange fungus on this planet has begun infecting our colonists with a mysterious illness that appears to be impossible to vaccinate against. Although our doctors can treat the symptoms easily enough, they have no hope of finding a cure, and the risk of contagion is high. With this disease strickening [sickening or afflicting (which I prefer)] us, our colony will never see its full growth potential. What are your orders?

Mutations_Dec

Despite the equipment and protocols set up to protect against the massive radiation on this planet, mutations are a fact of life for those who live here. The worst and most threatening mutations are dealt with surgically, but cosmetic disfigurements are often left as is, and the colonists simply learn to live with them. But the site [sight] of these mutations are pretty upsetting for anyone who visits from off world, and trade is beginning to suffer. What are your orders?

Thunderstorms_Dec

This planet is going through a period of heavy thunderstorm activity. This is effecting [affecting] some ancient ruins near your colony, energizing what was thought to be inert stone [and] revealing it to be a powerful alien artifact capable of channeling the tremendous energy. Sometimes this energy is channeled into the bodies of anyone standing nearby, with predictably messy consequences. Studying these ruins could prove incredibly valuable, although also dangerous to anyone who has to do it. What are your orders?

SuperShark_Dec

The waters of this planet are patrolled by a monstrously large creature, filled with teeth and ill will. It seems to have taken a particular interest in your colony, and has already killed many of your colonists with it's [its] aforementioned teeth and ill will. Your scientists have come up with a way of destroying the beast -- it's a really big gun -- but aren't sure what effect removing an alpha predator will have on the ecosystem and, or the impact to our kelp farms. What are your orders?

SolarFlare_Dec

An increased period of solar activity has caused a species of previously dormant insects to suddenly begin swarming, greatly limiting activity in your colony. Your scientists have developed a sonic screen which can kill the insects, but believe there may also be a way to expand the technology to rid the world of the swam [swarm] forever. What effects that will have on the ecosystem are as yet unknown. What are your orders?

And kudos to you, Rhonin, for going through the files in such detail.  You deserve a pat on the back, or even better, a credit in the game credits!

centres is correct here

Centre is the UK spelling of center, also the improvement itself is called Manufacturing Center, I thought it'd be best to stay consistent.

and canada i could also argue that the improvement name should be changed to keep it consistent with the discription
