                     Kim Sasabone travels cross country determined to visit every club in the United States in the simplistic  “We Like To Party.”

                   A blaring horn and impatient synths open the single, setting an irritated tone. The group wants to have fun. (“We like to party/We like, we like to party/We like to party/We like, we like to party/We like to party/We like, we like to party/We like to party.”)

               Sasabone says says she has the best plan ever. He’s going to fly to the States, rent a mini-bus and do nothing but relax. (“I’ve got something to tell ya/I’ve got news for you/Gonna put some wheels in motion/Get ready cause were coming through/Hey now, hey now, hear what I say now/Happiness is just around the corner/Hey now, hey now, hear what I say now/We’ll be there for you.”)

                  In the chorus, it’s going to be a huge party bus. People will be posting about it on the Internet. His friends are really excited. They plan to land in New York first, make a stop in Miami and then head to California. In the bus, someone turns the radio up and everyone begins to dance. They hold onto to their seats during turns. (“The vengabus is coming/And everybody’s jumping/New York to San Fransisco/An intercity disco/The wheels of steel are turning/And traffic lights are burning/So if you like to party/Get on and move your body/We like to party/We like, we like to party/We like to party/We like, we like to party.”)

            The last of the only verse is sung again. (“Hey now, hey now, hear what I say now
Happiness is just around the corner/Hey now, hey now, hear what I say now/We’ll be there for you.”)

               A variation on the chorus is sung. (“The vengabus is coming…the wheels of steel are turning/ Get on and move your body/The vengabus is coming..the wheels of steel are turning.. get on and move your body.”)

       In the bridge, the horns blare again as they say they like have fun and are totally excited for their trip. (“We like to party/we like, we like to party/We like to party/We like, we like to party/We like to party/We like, we like to party/We like to party/We like, we like to partyThe vengabus is coming /The vengabus is coming/The vengabus is coming/The vengabus is coming/The vengabus is.”)

           The chorus is sung again.

         Part of the chorus is sung again to end the single. (“The wheels of steel are turning/And traffic lights are burning/So if you like to party/Get on and move your body/The vengabus is coming.”)

            Sasabone’s dim-witted vocals pass drinks around the bus. She sees a police car and continues dancing around with her drink. The police turn his lights on. Everyone starts sitting and she asks “why.” The bus driver pulls over and she pouts. She thought those U.S. laws were made up.

               The Vengaboys mix up their culture references, thinking it’s the same in the United States.  In the United States, there are party limos  and buses that can be rented. However, they are easy to notice on the road on the weekends. The vengabus, according to Wikipedia, is a mini-bus which to the single cover art, uses the image of a schoolbus. A rowdy schoolbus full of adults driving across America is going to attract for all the wrong reasons.

        The nettlesome “We Like To Party” hits some black ice and skids.
