For most maps, TEC and Advent have slight advantage over Vasari early game....late game, it's mostly even across the board...

Um... he used flak against what sounds to me like a bomber heavy fleet. Makes sense the flak should win.

Also, "Jumping in with his ankylon and dunov and hoshikos" So it's not Flak on it's own dude. It's the combination of a supporting fleet with ships that are supposed to do bonus damage against the bombers (which was probably the Advents main dps) that sounds like it got the win.

Also, 12 factories and 2 starbases with factory upgrades on one planet? Sounds like the guy deserved to win if he managed to pull that off.

As I said in that thread, with 800 credits a second and 12 factories, you could spam scout ships and beat anything....

Next game I'm going to try and spam colony frigates and win.

If what you were saying was to be taken seriously, a person could simply build nothing but flak and win.

Flak has its share of weaknesses too.

Balance is definitely better than the previous versions of Sins, but there's more that could be done.

Personally I'd give the suppression aura 1 more effect, like maybe a passive debuff to armor for every ship within radius.

Anklyon is fine relative to the other Titans. It has its counters and is not unbeatable.
